At Triosim, precision tolerances are not a problem! We can hold precision tolerances down to .000030 TIR and .000050 straightness on certain applications. We routinely hold .0002 TIR and straightness tolerances on paper industry calendar rolls. Most rolls do not require tight precision tolerances; however, when they do, Triosim is your one stop shop for precision roll grinding.
Balancing can make a world of difference – and Triosim is equipped to dynamically balance a wide range of rolls and rotation equipment in the industries we serve. Our balancing capacity is 84” OD x 400” long and carry up to an 80,000 lb. load. Our variety of set-ups allow for balancing on existing shaft surfaces or use mounted bearings on the shaft for support. Also, our optical whip indicator allows us to correct whip imbalance when necessary on high speed rolls. Our expert technicians will dynamically balance your rollers to the specified balance class. Correct balancing optimizes machine performance and roller life by minimizing vibration.
