State-of-the-Art Equipment

Triosim has two Craven, two-wheel grinders capable of grinding rolls up to 80” x 360” in diameter and 256” long to ensure even the biggest jobs are turned around quickly.  Both grinders are equipped with belt-grinding attachments and variable-crown roll driving units.

Expertise

Triosim has special expertise in grinding crowned, concave and controlled crown rolls using a computerized caliper to verify a rolls profile. Following the refurbishing or rebuild, we conduct a full precision inspection and prepare a detailed report showing the actual contour and T.I.R. for each of the ground surfaces. The report and its specifications are delivered to you along with the finished roll.
