JLM Completes Large Renovation Project

APPLETON, WI, July 19, 2016 – JLM Advanced Technical Services, Inc., an affiliate of Triosim Corporation, recently completed a major tissue machine renovation for one of the world’s largest towel and tissue producers located in the Southeast United States.  The job scope of the project was very unique – requiring the support of a 15-foot Yankee Dryer while the framework on the drive side of the machine was demolished and replaced with new. With the help of JLM’s Senior Mechanical Specialist Paul Scott, the team engineered a specialized lifting device to support the dryer and ensure that the special coating on the surface was protected and maintained.

“The skill and attention to detail from our team allowed us to complete this logistically challenging project efficiently and ahead of schedule,” said Scott Bowman, President of JLM Advanced Technical Services, Inc. “I am proud of our team and the continuous development of our group of talented professionals within our organization. There are very few repairs in our industry that we will not tackle.”

The scheduled downtime for this repair was targeted for 10 days, however, through careful planning, intense mill participation and collaboration, and flawless execution, this project was completed ahead of schedule. The ensuing start-up was without issue and the machine is reported to be running well. This project totaled in excess of $306,000.
